Welcome! Yarmouth Little League is a youth baseball and softball league in Yarmouth, Maine. YLL baseball starts at age eight and YLL softball starts at age six.
Important 2025 Dates
Please note the following important dates:
- Baseball Clinics – March 16th, March 23rd, and April 6th at Yarmouth High School Gym. These clinics are free of charge and only for the groups listed below. No additional sign up is necessary.
- Baseball ages 9/10 – 9 am to 10:30 am
- Baseball ages 11/12 – 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Softball Clinics – March 16th, March 30th, and April 6th at Yarmouth High School Gym. These clinics are free of charge and only for the groups listed below. No additional sign up is necessary.
- Softball 1st to 4th graders – 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
- Softball 5th to 7th graders – 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
- Softball Player Evaluations – March 23rd at Yarmouth High School Gym. Evaluations are for everyone except farm league players and returning major league players. Evaluations are mandatory and extremely important for safety/balancing team rosters.
- We will update you with a specific time to have your player at evaluations ahead of March 23rd.
- Players will find out what team they are on before April school vacation.
- YLL online store – March 24-30th
- The YLL online store will be open for one week only. Your order will be delivered before the start of the season. The link to the YLL Online Store will be posted on our website prior to March 24th.

- Baseball Player Evaluations – March 30th at Yarmouth High School Gym. Similar to last year, the player evaluation date is the Sunday before the third clinic. Baseball evaluations are for everyone except farm league players and returning major league players. Evaluations are mandatory and extremely important for safety/balancing team rosters.
- We will update you with a specific time to have your player at evaluations ahead of March 30th.
- Softball players will be contacted separately about evaluations.
- Players will find out what team they are on before April school vacation.
- Start of regular season – April 28th
- Opening day ceremony – May 3rd (11 am) at DeLorme Field. Player photos will also be taken on May 3rd.
- Softball Championship – TBD (likely June 7th)
- Baseball Championship – June 14th
