Softball Leagues

Below is information on Yarmouth Little League’s softball levels.

Farm League

Yarmouth Farm League Softball is exclusively for first and second grade girls. It is an excellent, low-key way to gain exposure to softball.

Minor League

Yarmouth Minor League Softball is for girls ages 8 to 11. Many third, fourth, and fifth graders play Minor League Softball. We hold evaluations in the spring to balance the teams and make sure everyone is properly positioned for their best development and safety.

Major League

Yarmouth Major League Softball is for girls ranging from fourth to seventh grade. You must be at least Little League League Softball Age 9 and no greater than Little League Softball Age 12. We hold evaluations in the spring to balance the teams and make sure everyone is properly positioned for their best development and safety.

Junior League

Junior League Softball is for girls ranging from Age 12 to Age 14. The players are typically 7th and 8th graders who have aged out of traditional Little League. The season compliments the Middle School Softball season.
